LUMICKS is a recent spin-off, rooted in my research group and the one of Erwin Peterman at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. It brings to market the revolutionary C-Trap™ and AFS™ systems. These instruments enable the disruptive techniques of live measurement and imaging of interactions at the single-molecule level.

Mission

Understanding the most complex biological processes at the single-molecule level is key for the prevention and cure of cancer and other diseases. Live observation and measurement at the molecular level is game changing, and LUMICKS aims to make these enabling technologies available to biologists to create a better world.
